If you are the owner of a vehicle and want to verify the details of the vehicle and the owner or operator of the vehicle as recorded in the Road Vehicle Register, you can request a data extract from this register.

What you need if you are using this service

All data and information about the vehicles you own or operate is available free of charge on the Transport Portal. No further documents are needed in this case.

If you want to verify data about another vehicle, owner or operator, you must submit your request via data box or by e-mail with a qualified electronic signature. Other documents will be submitted in person.

When you visit the office in person, you, as the owner or operator of the vehicle, must submit supporting documents confirming the validity of the request together with the completed application form:

• an official document certifying the identity of the applicant,
• a trade certificate or an extract from the commercial register in the case of a natural or legal person,
• in the case of representation by proxy, a written power of attorney with the officially certified signature of the principal and a document certifying the identity of the authorised person.

Where and how to solve this service

You can submit your application at any municipal office of the municipality with extended competence which carries out the vehicle registration agenda via e-mail or data box.

The application will be processed only after the relevant documents have been presented when you visit the office in person.

In the case of electronic submission (by data box or by e-mail with a qualified electronic signature), it is also possible to submit a request for verification of data on another vehicle, owner or operator of the vehicle.

How much will you pay

The fee for issuing data from the Road Vehicle Register is CZK 100 for each request.
