Accessibility statement

The Ministry of the Interior undertakes to make its websites https://portal.gov.cz and https://obcan.portal.gov.cz available in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications and on amending Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on public administration information systems and on amendments to other acts, as amended, implementing the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.portal.gov.cz/, https://obcan.portal.gov.cz/

Compliance status

This website is partly in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications and on the amendment of Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on information systems of the public administration and on the amendment of other acts, as amended, on the grounds of insufficiently accessible content or exceptions listed below.

The following content is not accessible due to non-compliance with the Accessibility Act:

  • Some navigation and control elements (check boxes) are not controllable, and functions are not available from the keyboard (Guideline 2.1 – Keyboard Accessible).
  • There is no option to hide the main menu, you are able to scroll through the hidden list (Guideline 1.4 – Distinguishable).

Work is currently under way to bring it into compliance with the Act, provided that the conditions are met during 2021 at the latest.
