Certificate of professional competence issued by the Czech Mining Authority

Prior to the commencement of temporary or occasional activities consisting in testing, overhaul, repair, installation or operation of dedicated technical facilities in the Czech Republic by a natural person who is authorized in another Member State of the European Union or the Swiss Confederation to perform similar activities, the Czech Mining Authority shall verify: office professional qualifications. 

These are reserved technical facilities that serve the performance of mining activities, activities carried out by mining methods and for the handling of explosives.

This applies to you if

You are a person from a member of the European Union or the Swiss Confederation and you intend to carry out activities in the Czech Republic consisting of:

• testing,
• revisions,
• repair,
• assembly or
• operation of dedicated technical facilities.

When to use this service

In good time before the intended implementation of activities on dedicated technical facilities. The deadlines for issuing certificates are governed by the Administrative Procedure Code.

It is also necessary to count on a period of about 2 months to verify professional qualifications.

What you need if you are using this service

For communication with the Czech Mining Authority in paper form, it is necessary to have the relevant documentation in paper form, which is attached to the application in paper form. The content of the application is governed by the Administrative Procedure Code.

The application shall be accompanied by these documents in paper form:

• proof of good faith,
• proof of medical fitness and
• proof of experience.

The Czech Mining Authoritiy can be contacted by post made to its address or by personal filing at the filing office or orally in the minutes. The Czech Mining Authority does not issue printed forms.
