Main information
After completing primary school, pupils with artistic or athletic talent have the opportunity to continue their education at a secondary school that requires a talent examination. Art schools include, for example, schools of applied arts, schools focused on graphic design, visual arts, design, or crafts. In the first and second rounds of the admissions process, applicants may submit two applications to programmes requiring a talent exam, and an additional three applications to programmes that do not require a talent exam. All fields of study are listed on one application form, in order of priority (i.e. importance to the applicant). Only applicants to the field of study “grammar school with a sports focus” must also take the standardised entrance examination in addition to the talent examination.

You are eligible if you wish to continue your education after completing compulsory schooling (or after obtaining primary education before the end of compulsory schooling) at a secondary school with an artistic focus or at a sports grammar school.
