Option to change first and last names to neutral ones before gender reassignment

If an individual has started treatment for gender change, they may declare before any registry office that they will use a neutral first name(s) and surname.

If treatment for gender change has begun, the registry office will accept the declaration of the individual concerned regarding the use of a neutral (gender-neutral) first name(s) and surname. These are names and surnames that have the same form for both male and female gender (e.g., René Tomšů, Nikola Janků).
Using a neutral first name(s) and surname is possible based on a declaration made before any registry office. The declaration must be accompanied by a certificate from the healthcare provider (attending sexologist) at whose medical facility the treatment for gender change is being carried out (confirmation of the commencement of treatment for gender change).
Changing the first name and surname of an individual in connection with gender change is free of charge (the change is exempt from administrative fees).
