A citizen who holds a valid travel card can apply for an extension of its validity.

A Czech Embassy has issued you a travel card for a single trip for the time needed to complete the trip, e.g. for 14 days. If you are unable to complete the trip in this time, you may request an extension of the validity of the travel card. The validity can be extended up to 6 months.
