Withdrawal of the accreditation of an educational retraining programme upon request

Main information

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (‘MEYS’) may withdraw the accreditation of the educational retraining programme at your own request.

As the owner of the accreditation, send a request to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to withdraw the accreditation.

This applies to you if

1. You are an educational establishment (natural or legal person) that has been granted accreditation to organise retraining programmes, which is currently still valid.
2. You no longer want to implement accredited educational programs and you want to request the withdrawal of accreditation.

What you need if you are using this service

If you wish to request the withdrawal of your accreditation, you may submit an application in free form. 

There is no prescribed form for this action.

Where and how to solve this service

You can deliver the request for withdrawal of accreditation in person to the mailroom or send it by post to the following address:

Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Department of Secondary, Higher Vocational and Continuing Education, Department of Vocational and Continuing Education

Subsequently, the Ministry of Education will issue you with a decision to withdraw your accreditation, which will be sent to you via the Czech Post.

If you wish to request the withdrawal of your accreditation, you may submit an application in free form. 

There is no prescribed form for this action.

Where and how to solve this service

An application for withdrawal of authorisation may be submitted electronically:

• by means of a form on the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports Submission Portal or
• to the data box of the Ministry of Education (ID: vidaawt).

Subsequently, the Ministry will issue you with a decision to withdraw your accreditation, which will be sent to your data box.

What is the benefit of this service

If, as an education and training facility, he/she ceases to implement educational programmes and asks you to withdraw accreditation, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will comply with this requirement.
