Withdrawal of accreditation of an educational institution or educational programme accredited in the system of continuing education of pedagogical staff

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports checks the activities of accredited educational institutions in the implementation of accredited programmes. As an accredited educational institution, you are responsible for compliance with the level and content of education in educational courses according to the assessed and approved educational program and for the implementation of the set system of internal quality assessment of the accredited program.

If we detect shortcomings in the implementation of the training programme, we will ask you to remedy them within a reasonable period of time. If you do not rectify this, the Ministry will withdraw your accreditation of the training programme. 

The Ministry will withdraw the accreditation of an educational institution or the accreditation of an educational programme even if there are circumstances on your part that would justify rejecting the application for accreditation of an educational institution or the accreditation of an educational programme.

This applies to you if

You are a legal entity or a natural person who organizes training courses accredited in the system of continuing education of pedagogical staff in violation of the accreditation granted, you do not comply with the conditions and after a call for rectification you have not agreed on rectification within the prescribed time limit.  

We will also withdraw your accreditation if there are conditions that would mean that you will not be granted accreditation, e.g. your organisation has been removed from the register of schools and educational establishments for further training of teaching staff, and the provision of the programme requires your organisation to be this type of educational establishment.

When to use this service

The Ministry deals with the withdrawal of the accreditation of an institution or educational programme on the basis of the control activity carried out, unless you remedy the identified shortcomings in the implementation of accredited education.

Also if there are substantial changes that would justify non-accreditation.
