If you are dissatisfied with how elections have been held in your city district or borough or with the conduct of the city district authority or city borough authority and have been unsuccessful in seeking redress from the relevant municipality, you have the right to file a complaint with the regional authority.
The regional authority cannot objectively assess the complaint if you have not first sought protection from the municipal authority or relevant municipality.

You are dissatisfied with how elections have been held in your electoral district or municipality and have filed a complaint with your municipal authority or the relevant municipality, and that authority or municipality did not uphold your complaint.
When to use this service
You may file a complaint at any time; however, you are advised to file it as possible so that, where appropriate, it can be redressed in a timely manner.

In your complaint, please state:
- your first name and surname,
- your date of birth,
- your permanent residential address (for citizens of another EU Member State, your temporary address),
- the reason for your complaint, and
- how you want your complaint to be resolved.

You may file a complaint orally, in writing or by telephone.
File your complaint with the regional authority in whose territory the municipality you are complaining about is located.
