The procedure for appointment as a professor is initiated upon a proposal of the candidate supported by at least two written references of professors in the same or a related field submitted to the scientific board of the faculty or the Scientific or Artistic Board of the higher education institution that has accreditation for the relevent field.

You need a proposal supported by at least two written opinions from professors in the same or a related field containing:

• curriculum vitae,
• evidence of higher education and relevant degrees obtained,
• evidence of teaching experience,
• list of scientific, professional or artistic works,
• list of completed scientific, professional or artistic internships, both domestic and foreign, or
• other evidence of scientific or artistic qualifications,
• the field in which the candidate is applying for the procedure for appointment as professor.

The proposal is submitted to the scientific board of the faculty that has accreditation for that field or to the scientific or artistic board of the higher education institution if the institution has accreditation for the proposed field.

A candidate may submit objections to the procedure for appointment as a professor at a faculty or higher education institution within 30 days, which shall be decided by the Rector. This decision is final.
