Review of the didactic test of the school-leaving examination

Main information

Anyone who has taken the didactic test of the common part of the school-leaving examination or has been expelled during it may, within 20 days of the end of the period for the common part of the school-leaving examination, request in writing the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to review:

• the result of this examination or 
• the decision on exclusion from the examination.

It is possible to request a review of the evaluation of the didactic test and the test conditions.

The student requesting a review of the conditions for conducting the didactic test should state his objections to the course of the test in the application.

The Ministry shall request a report from the classroom and a report from the examination site, examine whether an objection to the conditions has been raised by the pupil himself or by another pupil or the contracting authority, and request the opinion of the contracting authority, the head of the school, the school graduation commissioner or other witnesses to confirm the legitimacy of the request.

This applies to you if

1. You took the exam of the school-leaving examination in the form of a didactic test.
2. You have doubts about the correctness of the evaluation of the exam, about the conditions of holding or do not agree with the exclusion from the exam.

When to use this service

The application for review of the didactic test must be submitted at the latest:

• in the spring trial period, up to 20 days after 15 May, i.e. 4 June,
• in the autumn trial period, up to 20 days after 10 September, i.e. 30 September.

• via the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports' Submission Portal, or
• on a prescribed form and send it with a data message from the applicant or an authorised person.

• data boxes (ID: vidaawt) or 
• an electronic document bearing an advanced electronic signature to the address of the registrar: posta@msmt.gov.cz.

• Possible improvement of the didactic test result.
• Setting a new date for the examination if an organizational incident occurred during the examination.

Appeal options

The notification of the review of the didactic test as well as the notification of the review of the conditions for conducting the test (organisational incident) is final and cannot be appealed against.
