Main information
A pupil - a foreigner and a citizen of the Czech Republic who has a similar need for integration as a foreigner is entitled to free preparation for integration into primary education, including the teaching of the Czech language adapted to the needs of pupils who fulfil compulsory school attendance at a school in the Czech Republic.
These are pupils of foreigners who have started their education in a foreign school and do not have sufficient knowledge of the Czech language and Czech citizens who have similar needs for integration as foreigners.
The headmaster of the school in which the pupil completes compulsory schooling shall inform the pupil's legal representative within one week of the pupil's admission to school of the possibility of attending classes for language training.
The pupil is assigned to the language training class at the request of his/her legal representative submitted to the headmaster of the tribal school, no later than 30 days after the submission of the application.
