Request for Higher Verification of a Document Issued by the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic

Main information

If you need to use a document issued by bodies of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic abroad, you can request higher verification of that document from the tax administrator.

If the document is endorsed with higher verification by the General Financial Directorate, you can subsequently request that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (“MFA”) affix the apostille clause (“apostille”) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - see the service Higher Verification of a Domestic Public Document with an Apostille Clause of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Without higher verification of the document by the General Financial Directorate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not issue an apostille.
The General Financial Directorate does not ensure that the document is forwarded to the MFA for apostille certification.
