Reporting the facts leading to the termination of registration as a jobseeker

You can use this service to notify the Labour Office of the Czech Republic that you have encountered a situation that prevents you from being included or listed as a jobseeker.

On the basis of such a notification, the regional branch of the Labour Office will no longer keep you on the register of job seekers.

The Labour Office of the Czech Republic will terminate your registration as a jobseeker on the date when:

  • any of the facts preventing the inclusion or continuation of registration of the jobseeker occurred, except for the following facts:
    • you are temporarily unable to work,
    • you receive maternity allowance in the period before and six weeks after giving birth,
  • the start of employment, 
  • receipt of your written request to stop being registered as a jobseeker,
  • on the date of:
    • commencement of imprisonment,
    • commencement of the execution of a protective detention measure,
    • the day after the date of the jobseeker's death or the day after the jobseeker is declared dead,
    • following the expiry of six months from the date of the jobseeker's detention,
    • inclusion in the register of jobseekers if the regional branch of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic subsequently found that the jobseeker was not eligible to be a participant in legal relations under the Employment Act or on the date on which this eligibility ceased,
  • cancellation or expiry of the blue card.

When to use this service

As an applicant registered with the Labour Office, you are obliged to notify changes to the facts you have stated in your application for employment mediation within eight calendar days.

There is no prescribed form for a notification of changes. You can write the notification in free form, indicating all the changes to be notified.

It will take you approximately 30 minutes to write a free-form application.

Send the notification by post or submit it in person at the contact office of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, where you are registered as a jobseeker.
