Provision of outputs from the Trade Register

Main information

Applicants may request the provision of outputs from the Trade Register, such as:

• a full or partial extract from the Trade Register,
• an output with data held on the applicant in the Trade Register or
• the provision of a report from the public part of the Trade Register with basic identification data of entrepreneurs.

The Trade Licensing Office will assess the application and if the applicant has a legal right to provide the output under the Trade Licensing Act, the required output will be received upon payment of the prescribed administrative fee.

You are an entrepreneur or citizen and you are applying for an extract from the Trade Register. 

When to use this service

You can solve the service at any time if you decide to apply for an extract from the Trade Register.

What you need if you are using this service

To apply for exit from the Trade Register you need:

• proof of legal interest, if you request data from the non-public part of the trade register,
• proof of payment of the administrative fee.

Where and how to solve this service

During the personal visit you will come to the selected municipal trade licensing office (ŽÚ):

•  Based on your request, the relevant output from the Trade Licensing Register will be prepared by the ŽÚ worker.

When submitting an application by post, please do the following:

1. Send the application with the required outputs from the Trade Register by post to the selected Municipal Trade Licensing Office.
2. You can personally submit the application prepared in writing to the registry of the selected municipal trade licensing office.

When submitting an application via the CzechPOINT contact point:

1. Visit the relevant CzechPOINT contact point at the post office.
2. Handle a request with a mail worker.

How much will you pay

Amount of fees when processing the application in person or when submitting the application by post:

• CZK 20 for the issue of a full or partial extract from the Trade Register for each page,
• CZK 5 for the issue of a report from the Trade Register on request for data on one entrepreneur,
• 50 CZK when processing the application through the contact point of the public administration.

What you need if you are using this service

To submit an application for exit from the Trade Register electronically, you need:

• a recognised electronic signature or data box;
• proof of legal interest, if you request data from the non-public part of the trade register,
• proof of payment of the administrative fee.

Where and how to solve this service

You can submit your request electronically by:

• electronic submission on the Trade Licensing Portal,
• by e-mail to the electronic filing office of the municipality with extended competence, where the elected trade licensing office has its registered office,
• to the data box of the municipality with extended competence, where the registered office of the selected trade licensing office is located,
• through the Citizen's Portal when proving the electronic identification of the applicant.

The Trade Licensing Office (Trade Licensing Office), which you have marked in your submission for processing, is obliged to accept this electronic submission, to process it accordingly and, if possible, to process it electronically.

No document is required to download an extract from the public part of the Trade Register at the Trade Licensing Portal.

How much will you pay

If you apply to the Trade Licensing Office for outputs electronically, the amount of the fee is:

• CZK 20 for the issue of a full or partial extract from the Trade Register for each page,
• 5 CZK for the issue of a report from the Trade Register on request for data on one entrepreneur.

Downloading an extract from the public part of the Trade Register on the Trade Licensing Portal and obtaining an exit from the Trade Register via the Citizen's Portal is not subject to an administrative fee.
