Based on a request of a student, a HEI may grant a scholarship to its student to finance his/her studies if the student meets the relevant criteria (set out in the internal regulations of HEI or by law).
This applies to you if
You are a student of the higher education institution. You must submit an application to the higher education institution and you must meet the conditions set by the internal regulations of the higher education institution or by the law (§ 68 para. 1 letter e, § 68 para. 2 to 7, § 69a para. 2 and 3, § 91 of Act No. 111/1998 Sb., Act No. 117/1995 Sb.).

What is the benefit of this service
Getting a scholarship from the higher education institution to cover study-related costs.
Appeal options
- The possibilities of appeal are set out in Section 68 of Act No. 111/1998 Sb.
- The student can appeal against the decision within 15 days from its announcement. A delaying effect of the appeal cannot be excluded.
- The appeal administrative body is represented by the Rector.
- The Rector shall review legal compliance of the negative decision and proceedings preceding the decision with legal provisions, internal regulations of the higher education institution and its faculty.
- As a result of decisions taken pursuant to the Rector’s decision, the officers and official bodies of a public higher education institution or one of its constituent parts will take measures, where these are required, to restore a student’s rights and to eliminate or at least mitigate the consequences of a wrong decision.
