During tertiary vocational education, the school director may allow a student to repeat a year if the student has not fulfilled the requirements of the accredited education programme for the respective year.
Permission to repeat a year is granted by the school director after assessing the student’s previous academic results and the reasons stated in the application.

- You submit an application to the school director requesting to repeat the year.

What is the benefit of this service
The benefit is that by repeating the year, you are given the opportunity to successfully meet the requirements of the accredited education programme for that year and to continue your studies by repeating the year you did not complete successfully.
Appeal options
Appeals against a decision rejecting an application to repeat the year are decided by the Regional Authority or the Prague City Hall, depending on the registered office of the school.
The appeal must be submitted through the director of the school.
