The legal representative of the child (parent) has the opportunity to apply to the headmaster of the school for permission for the individual (home) education of their child.
In individual education, the pupil does not go to school, but is educated at home, teaching is provided in full by parents or another educator.
The pupil takes exams in all subjects at the end of each semester in his/her elementary school.

What you need if you are using this service
Submit an application for permission for individual education to a primary school. The application shall include:
- name(s) and surname, birth number, if assigned, and place of permanent residence of the pupil or residence, if he/she does not have a permanent residence in the territory of the Czech Republic,
- an indication of the period, year or semester when the pupil is to be individually educated,
- reasons for individual education of the pupil,
- a description of the spatial and material technical security of the education and the conditions for the protection of the health of the individually educated pupil,
- documents certifying the completion of the education of the person who will educate the pupil individually,
- a list of textbooks and textbooks that will be used in teaching, unless they are textbooks referred to in Section 27(1) of the Education Act,
- other facts that affect the course of the pupil's education and
- the statement of the school counselling facility.
Materials must be converted into electronic form. A data box or an electronic advanced signature is required.

The service is solved at the elementary school of the pupil, where he is registered for compulsory school attendance.

What is the benefit of this service
Individual education allows parents to adapt the organization of education and the educational methods used for a particular pupil as much as possible, while fulfilling the legal obligation to attend school.

Who pays for the costs of individual training?
Expenditure related to individual education shall be borne by the pupil’s legal representative, with the exception of textbooks and basic school supplies pursuant to Section 27(3) and (6) of the Schools Act, special textbooks and special didactic and compensatory teaching aids pursuant to Section 16(7) of the Schools Act and expenditure on the activities of the school to which the pupil was admitted for compulsory school attendance.
