Main information
In the Czech sections of the lyceum in Dijon and Nîmes and in the bi-national bilingual educational cycle of the Friedrich Schiller Grammar School in Pirna, the educational programme is carried out in agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on the basis of a bilateral agreement.
For this reason, the certificate issued by these schools is nostrified directly by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS). Certificates of other foreign secondary schools are nostrified (or issued by certificates of their equivalence) by regional authorities.
If you are a graduate of these educational programmes, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will issue you, upon request, a nostrification clause to this certificate, which recognises the validity of the foreign certificate in the Czech Republic.
This applies to you if
- You are a graduate of the Czech section of the lyceum in Dijon or Nîmes or a graduate of the bilingual bilingual educational cycle of the Friedrich Schiller Grammar School in Pirna.
- You need your certificate to be recognised in the Czech Republic.
When to use this service

Frequently asked questions
What do I need to convert the educational documents attached to my application?
Documents in paper form up to 150 pages can be converted at public administration contact points. For reasons of time, it is not possible to perform a large-scale document conversion at contact points, but it is possible to use a specialized office of the Czech Post, which is equipped for these needs.
The converted document in electronic form may be handed over to the customer in one of the following ways:
- on CD (the customer receives the carrier free of charge at the contact point),
- on a USB flash drive (in case the customer brings their own drive),
- by uploading to the Czech POINT electronic depository. In this case, the customer is given a confirmation of inserting the document into the Storage Room either printed or by sending it to the data box.
