Immediate emergency assistance is a one-off benefit and a non-entitlement benefit, to which you are entitled if the relevant branch of the Czech Labour Office recognises you as a person in material need, because you are in one of six social situations.
Immediate emergency assistance is always linked to a specific expenditure situation for which you do not have enough funds. You must specify the expenditure in the application form. The benefit may be granted to you more than once in justified cases.
You need one-off assistance in the event of an unexpected life event, such as:

You can apply for the service if you find yourself in a situation that you cannot solve alone.

The form and separate annexes can be filled in on the Czech Labour Office website – the online form and annexes can be filled in separately, and submitted separately. Alternatively, you can fill them in as one online form with annexes, where you progressively fill in the form and the relevant annexes, which will all be sent electronically as one submission.

Provision of immediate emergency assistance when you find yourself in a specific situation that you cannot solve alone without emergency and immediate assistance from the State.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the immediate emergency assistance procedure, you can appeal against the ‘Decision’ within 15 days of its receipt. You can lodge an appeal at the regional branch of the Czech Labour Office which decided on the benefit. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will then decide on the appeal.
