Every voter who is entitled to vote in municipal council elections may contact their municipal authority to check whether they are registered on the electoral register or in an annex thereto.
Voters registered as Czech citizens who have permanent residence in a given municipality are registered on the electoral register. Voters registered as citizens of another EU Member State who are registered as residents of the municipality and have requested to be listed as voters are registered on an annex to the electoral register.

The same also applies for citizens of another EU Member State who hold confirmed temporary residence in Czechia or hold a permit for permanent residence in the municipality.
A voter who has permanent residence in the municipality and is a Czech citizen is automatically registered on the electoral register.
A citizen of another EU Member State who meets all the eligibility conditions must request entry on the electoral register to be able to vote in municipal council elections.
You may check whether you are registered as a voter on the electoral register or in an annex thereto at any time.
However, bear in mind that if you want to be registered on the electoral register or in an annex thereto, you must request to be included on the list no later than 2 days before election day (i.e. by 4 p.m. on the Wednesday before the election).

If you are a voter registered on the electoral register or in an annex thereto, you can participate in public life in your municipality by electing your representatives.
You can check with your municipal office at any time to verify whether you are registered on the electoral register or in an annex thereto.
If you notice an error, you can request that the information be corrected or added to. The municipal authority must comply within 48 hours, or inform you in writing of the reasons why the request cannot be complied with.
All voters also have the option to take the matter to the Regional Court, if they find errors or shortcomings in their data on the electoral register or in an annex thereto.
