Authorisation under the Act on the Verification and Recognition of Further Education Results and on the Amendment to Some Acts (the Act on the Recognition of Further Education Results) to conduct an examination of professional qualifications is granted based on your application for authorisation by the relevant authorising body that, according to its competence, has the respective professional qualification listed in the National Register of Qualifications (NSK).

The granting of authorisation is handled, within the framework of the Administrative Procedure Code, by the competent authorising body as determined in the National Register of Qualifications at www.narodnikvalifikace.cz for each professional qualification, within 30 days of the date of receipt of the application by the competent authorising body and after fulfilling all requirements stipulated by the Act on the Recognition of Further Education Results.

Authorisations are valid for five years.
Verification and recognition are carried out by the authorising body through so-called authorised persons.
An authorised person is a person who has the authority to verify, in the manner defined by the relevant assessment standard, the attainment of an applicant’s professional competence – i.e. the authority to conduct examinations and issue certificates of recognition of professional qualifications.
Any natural person, self-employed person, or legal entity that meets the conditions set out by law may become an authorised person.
