Main information
Accreditation for retraining education programmes is granted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) on the basis of an application for accreditation.
The electronic application form can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
Accreditation is granted to natural and legal persons and is valid for 3 years.
A retraining programme is a programme that may prepare a participant for an examination in a professional qualification.

You are an educational institution (a natural or legal person) wishing to offer accredited retraining courses.
When to use this service
You may start the process at any time.
MEYS processes applications and grants accreditation within 90 days of submission, as part of administrative proceedings.
If all requirements are met, you have a legal entitlement to the granting of accreditation.

How much will you pay
An administrative fee of CZK 1,000 applies to the submission of the application for accreditation. Proof of payment must be attached to the application.
The fee is paid by bank transfer to the account of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

The electronic application for accreditation may be submitted:
- via the electronic form on the Citizen Portal, or
- to the MEYS data box (ID: vidaawt).
How much will you pay

The fee may be paid by bank transfer to the account of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
This is not a fee for electronic processing – the electronic submission itself is free of charge.
