Extension of Institutional Accreditation

Main information

As a higher education institution with institutional accreditation, you may, during the period of validity of your institutional accreditation, apply to the National Accreditation Office for Higher Education for extension of the institutional accreditation for another field or fields of education or for another type or types of study programmes within the field for which the institutional accreditation have already been granted.

You are a higher education institution and you are interested in extension of current institutional accreditation. 

When to use this service

During the period of validity of the institutional accreditation you have already obtained and which you are interested in extending.

What you need if you are using this service

A written request for extension of institutional accreditation that includes:

1) the name of the higher education institution

2) specification of the field or fields of education and the type or types of study programmes for which the extension of institutional accreditation is applied

3) a report on the internal evaluation of the quality of the educational, creative and related activities of the higher education institution

4. a self-evaluation report

Where and how to solve this service

The application should be submitted at National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education:

National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education:If you prefer to submit a paper application, you must also submit an identical version on a hard electronic medium.

What is the benefit of this service

After extension of your institutional accreditation, you may provide additional field or fields of education or additional type or types of study programmes within the area for which you already have institutional accreditation.
