Exclusion of a person from a group of jointly assessed persons

This service enables you to arrange the exclusion of a person from a group of persons who are jointly assessed for the determination of entitlement to parental allowance and birth grant.

This applies to you if

You want a person to be excluded from a group of jointly assessed persons for:

• parental allowance or birth grant, and
• the excluded person has demonstrably not lived with the claimant for at least 3 months.

What you need if you are using this service

You need to fill in the Application to exclude a person from a group of jointly assessed persons form.

The application must be accompanied by any type of credible evidence showing that the excluded person has demonstrably not been living with you for at least 3 months (for parental allowance or birth grant).

Where and how to solve this service

You can submit an application to exclude a person from a group of jointly assessed persons at the Integrated Portal of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

When submitting electronically via the website, you must own a data box or have a qualified electronic signature certificate.

What is the benefit of this service

A person who would otherwise under the law be a jointly assessed person for the purpose of determining entitlement is not taken into account if the conditions stipulated by law are met.

Such person e.g. does not have to provide evidence of their decisive income for determining entitlement to a benefit depending on the amount of income of the family.

Appeal options

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the procedure to exclude a person from a group of jointly assessed persons, you can appeal against the Decision within 15 days of its delivery.

Submit your appeal with the regional branch of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic that made the decision on the benefit.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will then decide on your appeal.
