Employer’s notification of the employee’s entry into employment

Main information

The employer shall notify the health insurance fund of the employee, within 8 days at the latest, of the employee’s entry into employment or termination of his employment for the purposes of the payment of insurance premiums. In the case of persons in respect of whom affiliation to the public health insurance scheme arises and ceases upon entering or leaving employment, the employer shall also declare this fact.If the employer fails to comply with this obligation, the declaration shall be made by the employee himself.
