Persons with a physical, sensory or mental disability classified as a long-term unfavourable medical condition, which significantly limits their mobility or orientation, including those with autism spectrum disorder, are entitled to a disabled person’s pass.
The disabled person’s pass is marked TP (severe disability), ZTP (extreme disability) or ZTP/P (extreme disability with the need for a guide).

You may make use of this service if you have a disability (mobility, orientation or an autistic spectrum disorder).
To apply for a disabled person’s pass, you need to fill in the Application for a disabled person’s pass form.
For identification purposes, you need to show an identity card, a birth certificate for children under 15 and a court ruling on the appointment of a legal guardian (to be submitted if the person possesses such a ruling).

There is no fee for the processing of an application. However, on receiving a new disabled person’s pass you will pay CZK 30. No administrative fee is charged for issuing a disabled person’s pass in exchange for adamaged,destroyed or stolen pass, if the card was damaged, destroyed or stolen in connection with a violent crime, documented by a record with the Czech Police. If the damage, destruction, theft or loss of the pass was not due to a violent crime, the charge for issuing a new disabled person’s pass is CZK 200.

An application for a disabled person’s pass can be submitted on the website of the Labour Office at uradprace.cz or mpsv.cz (Common portal of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs).
There is no fee for the electronic processing of an application. However, when collecting the new pass (these are handed over in person at the relevant Czech Labour Office) you will pay CZK 30.
The Act on the Provision of Benefits to those with Disabilities governs certain entitlements of those holding disabled person’s passes.

Persons holding a ZTP or ZTP/P card and guides holding a ZTP/P card may be granted a discount on admission to theatre and film performances, concerts and other cultural and sporting events. There is no automatic entitlement to these benefits.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the procedure for a disabled person’s pass, you may submit an appeal against the ‘Decision’ within 15 days of receiving that decision. You can lodge appeals at the regional branch of the Czech Labour Office that decided on the benefit. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will then decide on the appeal.
