Under the Trade Licensing Act, an entrepreneur may apply to the Trade Licensing Office for the revocation of a trade licence. The Trade Licensing Office shall issue a decision on the revocation of the trade licence on the date notified to it by the entrepreneur (at the earliest on the date of receipt of the application). If the entrepreneur does not specify the date of revocation, the trade licence is revoked when the decision becomes final. After the decision becomes final, the Trade Licensing Office shall make an entry in the Trade Licensing Register on the revocation of the relevant trade licence.

What you need if you are using this service
If you want to cancel your business in person or by post, you need:
- Application for revocation of a trade licence in the form of a Single Registration Form - Change Certificate, or in the form of a regular submission with general requirements under the Code of Administrative Procedure. The data provided about the entrepreneur are: name, surname, date of birth, address.
- There is no need to attach any document to the application.
- I.D. card.
It takes an average of 15 minutes to complete an application.
Where and how to solve this service
When submitting a request in person or by post, please do the following:
- during a personal visit, you will come to the selected municipal trade licensing office and an employee of the RU will fill in a submission on the basis of the facts you have stated, which you will sign on the spot.
- when submitting an application by post, proceed as follows:
- fill in the submission in the JRF application or write an application in the form of a regular submission;
- print, sign the application,
- send the application by post to the selected municipal trade licensing office,
- You can personally submit your application in writing to the registry of the relevant municipal trade licensing office.

- when submitting an application via the CzechPOINT contact point:
- visit the relevant CzechPOINT contact point at the post office,
- handle the submission of the application in paper form or in electronic form with the worker/postal worker.
How much will you pay
Amount of fees when processing the application in person or when submitting the application by post:
- the application for revocation of the trade licence is not subject to an administrative fee;
- acceptance of submissions by the contact point of public administration (CzechPOINT) pursuant to Section 72 of the Trade Licensing Act CZK 50.

Appeal options
You can appeal against the decision of the Municipal Trade Licensing Office regarding the cancellation of the trade licence at the request of the entrepreneur in accordance with the relevant provisions of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., the Code of Administrative Procedure (Sections 81 and 82).
