Application for enrolment in a preparatory class of special primary school

Children with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities or autism are educated in the preparatory class of special primary school. A child may be enrolled in the preparatory class from the school year in which they reach the age of five until the start of compulsory school attendance. However, for a maximum of three school years. It is also possible to enrol a child during the school year.

The decision to include a child in the preparatory class of a special primary school is made by the school principal at the request of the legal guardian and on the basis of a written recommendation from the school counselling centre.

What you need if you are using this service

The legal guardian may apply for enrolment of a child to the preparatory class of special primary school electronically by e-mail with an electronic signature or by data mailbox. There is no central form, sometimes schools have their own form on their website. The application must include, in particular, the child's name, date of birth, permanent residence of the child, and delivery address. The application must be accompanied by a written recommendation from the school counselling centre in electronic form.

Where and how to solve this service

The application with the attachment shall be delivered to the principal of the school providing education in the preparatory class of special primary school at the school's e-mail address or data mailbox.
