Main information
Confirmation of the status of liabilities relating to insurance contributions, penalties and surcharges (hereinafter, ‘certificate of debt-free status’) is issued at the request of a payer of insurance contributions or another authorised person (such as an agent, or under applicable law by state administration bodies – the General Financial Directorate, the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, etc.).
The regional social security administration (‘RSSA’) must, at the request of a payer of contributions, issue a certificate of debt-free status.
The RSSA also issues a certificate of debt-free status on the basis of requests from third parties, where so provided for by a special act.
This applies to you if
- Anyone, including an entity that is not registered with the District/Prague/Brno Municipal Social Security Administration, requests a certificate of your debt-free status.
- You are a payer of insurance contributions and wish to apply for a certificate of debt-free status.
