Accreditation of an educational institution in the system of further education of pedagogical staff

Main information

If you are interested in carrying out accredited educational programmes for teaching staff and are applying for accreditation of programmes in the continuing education system for teaching staff for the first time, or if the accreditation of an educational institution has expired, you must also apply for accreditation of an educational institution with your application for accreditation of the programme .

After you submit your application for accreditation of an institution, we will check and, if the application is in order, which means that it contains all the required documents, and if you are also granted accreditation of at least one educational programme, we will also grant you accreditation of an educational institution.

The accreditation of an educational institution shall be granted for 6 years. During this time, the educational establishment can repeatedly implement accredited educational programs.

The deadline for processing your request is 120 days from the date of delivery.

The validity of the accreditation of an educational institution shall be automatically extended without the request of the holder of the accreditation, for as long as the validity of the accreditation of at least one educational programme of the educational institution persists after the end of the relevant period of validity of the accreditation of the educational institution. The automatic extension of the validity of an institution's accreditation treats a relatively short period of time when an approved accredited programme is running in the institution, but the validity of the institution's accreditation has expired.
If you are applying for accreditation of a new programme after the institution’s accreditation expires, you must submit a new application for accreditation of the institution at the same time.

This applies to you if

Are you a legal or natural person who organises training courses:

  • towards the acquisition of a qualification or specialisation of teaching staff; and
  • subject to the condition of accreditation in the system of continuing education of teaching staff.

When to use this service

An application for accreditation of an institution may be submitted at the same time as an application for accreditation of at least one programme at any time during the year, but within the deadlines published on the website of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

Deadlines are listed once a year. They are usually published in the month of September for the following calendar year.
