Main information
Accreditation for retraining educational programmes is granted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) on the basis of an application for accreditation.
The electronic application form for accreditation can be found on the P portal of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
Accreditation shall be granted to natural and legal persons and shall be valid for 3 years.
A retraining programme is a programme that can prepare a participant for a professional qualification examination.

You are an educational establishment (natural or legal person) that wants to implement accredited retraining courses.
When to use this service
You can start dealing with the service at any time.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports handles the granting of accreditations within 90 days of the submission of the application.
You have a legal right to be granted accreditation if you have fulfilled all the requirements.

An application for accreditation can be submitted in person or sent by post to the mailroom of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports:

How much will you pay
Submission of an application for accreditation shall be subject to an administrative fee of CZK 1000. The application must be accompanied by an extract of the transfer of funds.
The fee is paid by bank transfer to the bank account of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

You can submit an electronic application for accreditation:
- by means of an electronic form on the Citizen's Portal; or
- to the data box of the Ministry of Education (ID: vidaawt).
How much will you pay
Submission of an application for accreditation shall be subject to an administrative fee of CZK 1000.
You can pay the fee by bank transfer to the bank account of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
This is not a fee for the electronic processing of an application – this is free of charge.
