The specified mining area can be abolished. The abolition is authorized by the relevant district mining authority by decision. Administrative proceedings for the abolition of the mining area may be initiated ex officio.

Remedies are governed by the Administrative Procedure Code. It is possible to file an appeal against the decision of the district mining authority, which is decided by the Czech Mining Authority. 

The appeal is lodged with the district mining authority that issued the decision.
