Main information
Authorisations under Act No.179/2006 Coll., on the Verification and Recognition of Further Education Results and on the Amendment to Some Acts (Act on the Recognition of the Further Education Results) are granted on the basis of your application for authorisation. The electronic application form can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The granting of authorisation is handled within the framework of the Administrative Code within 30 days from the date of delivery of the application to the competent authorising body and after fulfilling all the requirements set out in Act No.179/2006 Coll., on the Verification and Recognition of Further Education Results and on the Amendment to Some Acts (Act on the Recognition of Further Education Results).
Authorisations are granted to natural persons, natural persons engaged in business, legal persons and legal persons functioning as a school. Authorisations are valid for 5 years.
Verification and recognition are carried out by so-called authorised persons. An authorised person is a person who has the authority to verify, in the manner defined in the relevant assessment standard, the attainment of a candidate's professional competence – i.e. the authority to examine and issue certificates of recognition of professional qualifications. Any natural person, natural person engaged business or legal person that meets the conditions set out by law may become an authorised person.

How much will you pay
The submission of an application for authorisation pursuant to Act No.179/2006 Coll., on the Verification and Recognition of Further Education Results and on the Amendment to Some Acts (Act on the Recognition of Further Education Results) is subject to an administrative fee of CZK 1,500 per professional qualification.
You have to pay the fee by transferring money to the account of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
