                SERVICE DESCRIPTION
If a certificate of temporary residence was issued to you as an EU citizen and you decide to terminate your residence in the Czech Republic and permanently leave the country, you can report the termination of your temporary residence to the Ministry of the Interior.
THIS APPLIES TO YOU, IF you are an EU citizen with registration certificate and intend to terminate your residence in the territory of the Czech Republic. 
SERVICE OUTPUT
You will hand in your registration cerificate. No decision will be issued. 
WHEN TO USE THE SERVICE
As an EU citizen who received a certificate of temporary residence, you can terminate your temporary residence in the country anytime.
However, if you decide to do so, you must return your registration certificate.

You must explicitly state that you are terminating your residence in the territory of the Czech Republic.
WHERE AND HOW TO USE THE SERVICE IN PERSON; WHERE TO SEND THE DOCUMENTS BY POST
You can report the termination of your residence in person at a Ministry of the Interior office. 
If you want to report the termination of your residence by post, send your registration certificate to the address of the Ministry of the Interior office of your catchment area. 
In that case, we recommend sending it by registered mail or as an insured item with a statement indicating that you are terminating your residence in the Czech Republic.

HOW MUCH YOU WILL PAY FOR USING THE SERVICE IN PERSON OR BY POST
Terminating the residence of an EU citizen is free of charge.
LANGUAGE OF THE CASE
All submitted documents must be in the Czech or Slovak language or must be officially translated into Czech.
