In Czechia, preventive examinations are provided for all groups of the population according to their degree of risk, from birth to adulthood, in the form of preventive examinations performed by qualified doctors. Involvement in prevention programmes is one of a patient's rights and is covered by health insurance.
Preventive examinations:
- general preventive examination, performed by a general practitioner
- general preventive examination for children, performed by a paediatrician general practitioner for children and adolescents
- dental preventive examination, performed by a dentist
- gynaecological preventive examination, performed by a gynaecologist
